Sweet and Vicious Episode 4: OBSESSED W/ E: Borbay

This week on Sweet and Vicious, host Eleni shared with the viewers that she was officially obsessed with artist, Borbay.
A few weeks ago, I was introduced to a Ustream channel where a guy streamed himself painting, cutting out newspaper clippings, and throwing it all together to create a masterpiece. At the time he was working on his Hip Hop Kings collection.
From that second on, I became a huge fan of Borbay.
Not only was he named Time Out Magazine’s Most Creative New Yorker of 2009 (which he insanely deserves), but his talent is reminiscent to that of Banksy, except legal!
I have always been a huge fan of art, street art, and anything just cool and unusual, so once I “met” Borbay, it was love at first sight. I began researching the artist, checking out all of his work, and to see everything he’s accomplished from when he first moved to New York City to now is nothing short but admirable.
Check him out! Below is a painting Borbay completed for his Hip Hop Kings collection of Hip Hop game changer, Kanye West! Just a taste of this amazing collection:

Looking forward to what else Borbay has in store for us all!
